This project is part of the series of guided visits that regularly take place at the Museum of Memory located on the ESMA Site. Yet, it is proposed as a way of entering circulating/walking around and an alternative way of being in the space, one that pays attention to the spectral dimension of forced disappearance. Guided by the hand of the artists’ great-grandmother in common, a Romanian Jew who practiced spiritualism, this performance explores some of the different modes of dialogue and coexistence with ghosts.
This project also puts to the test Mariana Eva Perez’s research on the theatrical representation of forced disappearance understood as a biopolitics of the mass production of specters. This is done in collaboration with Laura Kalauz - contemporary performance artist.
